I completed my undergraduate medical training in Pretoria in 2010. My infectious disease career began as an intern, where I became interested in HIV medicine, I went on to complete my diploma in HIV management in 2014 as well as a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene at the University of Liverpool in 2015. I completed my physician training in 2019 and I am currently subspecializing in infectious diseases at the University of Cape Town.
